When Should I Book My Trial?

I usually recommend a trial 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date. However, should you wish one sooner I am more than happy to do this.

Where Can I Have My Trial ?

Trials are usually held at my home near Bicester/Buckingham, I can travel to you for the trial but a small surcharge dependent on postcode will be added to the trial cost.

Do I Need To Prepare For My Trial?

A few ideas are very helpful, Please bring photos/mood board of things/ideas you like and I can do a full consultation with these in mind before I begin. I will ask plenty of questions about likes/dislikes and tailor what I do to you. We can also amend things as we go !

It is also a good idea to wear light colours to resemble your dress.

How Should I Prep My Hair?

If you could wash and dry your hair the day before or the day of your appointment. It’s up to you as I know some brides want clean fresh hair on the day, I fully prep hair and use amazing products so don’t worry about it being too clean !

Should I Come With A Clean Face Or Make Up On For My Makeup Trial?

Please either have a clean face or wear your usual makeup to give me an idea of your makeup boundaries. It’s totally up to you! I will remove any make up prior and prep your skin.

What Do I Need To Bring With Me To My Trial ?

Please have ready any hair accessories that you plan on wearing for your wedding day. If you are yet to choose I can give advice and I do have some hair accessories and a veil we can try for effect. If you have a specific hair product or makeup product that you want to use for your wedding, for example, a specific blush or lipstick, please have those ready as well. If you have allergies to certain makeup brands or makeup ingredients, please me know in advance.

Can I Try Different Styles ?

I am more than happy to make amendments after your first style and I can do a maximum of 3 hair styles before hair becomes overstyled. Make up can be adjusted slightly too. For a trial exceeding 3 hours, extra time charges will apply. (£20 per 30 minutes)

How Will You Recreate My Look Exactly The Same On The Day ?

I will take photos on your trial of different angles and I also fill out a face chart to record exact make up items used.

How Long Will My Trial Take?

Each service (makeup or hair) takes about 1 hour. Hair and Makeup trials take about 2-2 1/2 hours. Please let me know if you have a special circumstance, such as very long and thick hair so that I add time to your trial. As mentioned above after 3 hours a charge is added per 30 minutes.
